The recipe is simple, so let’s just sing instead.
Love Love Love
There’s nothing you can do that can’t be done
Nothing you can sing that can’t be sung
Nothing you can say, but you can learn how to play the game
Nothing you can make that can’t be made
No one you can save that can’t be saved
Nothing you can do, but you can learn how to be you in time
Switching over to Pinterest from Instagram (over a month now) has been one of the best decisions I’ve made concerning my internet use, my peace of mind AND my storytelling. I realize it’s not for everyone, but for those of you who might be interested, what I’ve noticed so far is that my creativity is soaring again, whereas on Instagram it always felt contrived, weighed down. I also see a drastic change in my focus. I’m present, much more present. I’m motivated. Inspired!
More recently, I’ve learned that Pinterest is a search engine, whereas Instagram is a social media channel. What that means is that your content on IG is not feed based, visible at the longest for 24 hours, after that buried. Having to repost more often, more time consuming. On Pinterest your pins never go away, when searched made relevant, bringing viewers to your site for years. I don’t blog for business purposes, but I do take joy in knowing someone may receive a drop of encouragement and inspiration from one click to my page, the chances increased via Pinterest.
Anything worth doing is never easy, but I encourage you today, lovelies, be-YOU-tiful.
…But the greatest of these is love.
